About the Sites:

Everything Wing Chun (EWC) was founded by Aaron Cantrell to help promote the art of Wing Chun Kung Fu.

Mr. Cantrell started training Wing Chun in 1999 and for 2 years collected all the information that he could on the art, amassing somewhere between 300-400 books and videos on the subject (which was pretty much everything ever made up to that point). In September of 2001 he founded the Wing Chun Archive (WCA) to list these books and videos for other collectors to compare by. Due to the high number of emails from collectors looking for the rare items mentioned, Mr. Cantrell started the Wing Chun Archive store to fund the growth of that site. Ever since that time 100% of the profits from any sales off these Wing Chun sites has gone back into promoting the art.

Those first sales allowed for the expansion of the WCA site to include the now famous listing of sifus and schools. Over the next few years more and more products were added to the selection until in May of 2006 Everything Wing Chun (EWC) was created to take the place of the store on the WCA site. When it opened it was already the largest Wing Chun store in the world, with over 250 unique products and growing. The goal was to have a web store focused only on Wing Chun and offering as many quality products as possible related to the art. It was a Wing Chun first. Today we are constantly trying to make this store better for our customers and trying gather all the good Wing Chun (Ving Tsun, Wing Tsun, etc) products that we can under one roof for you (As of the writing of this, the Everything Wing Chun site currently lists over 500 separate Wing Chun products from 50 different teachers/authors).

During this time, Mr. Cantrell also started the Wing Chun Fight Club and the Wing Chun Pedia - the worlds first online Wing Chun Encyclopedia.

Now, after almost 5 years of operation the EWC store has been able to raise enough funds to update and combine the existing sites. In March 2011 eWingChun.com will update and replace the WCA, WCFC, and WCP sites and will add a ton of cool new functions. This totally free resource site on the art of Wing Chun cost approximately $25k to build (not to mention the countless hours put in by Mr. Cantrell free of charge) and requires a high monthly server fee to operate (all of which EWC pays).

Also new for 2011 is the new Wing Chun University site. The WCU was established in May 2007 as a way to effectively teach Wing Chun via the internet. Due to technical limitations at the time, the WCU site primarily focused on selling Home Study DVD for the first 4 years. Now, as web technology has caught up to the concepts outline by Mr. Cantrell for the Univ, the site is being re-launched in March 2011. It will be the first online website to offer real 2 year courses in Wing Chun/Ving Tsun as well as the first to offer a large selection of Wing Chun dvds/videos on demand.
